Sightseeing in Ashland, OR
Had dinner at Yankee Pot Roast in Grants Pass, OR

Day 2:
Visited Oregon National Cave Monument in Cave Junction, OR
Crater Lake, OR

Spent the night at Bend, OR

Day 3:
Hiking at Silver Falls State Park in Salem, OR
Sightseeing in Portland

Total Water Falls Seen Today: 7

Day 4:

Drove on Columbia River Gorge Scenic Byway
Arrived in Seattle, WA in late afternoon
Had dinner at a Thai restaurant in Chinatown
Favourite Dish There: Sauteed Clam with Spicy Sauce and basils
Had a magical evening at the top of Space Needle - What a clear and gorgeous night!
Total Miles Driven: Approx. 200

Day 5:
Had brunch at Pike Public Market
Visited EMP Experience Music Project - very impressive!

Lunch at City Center - Fish and Chips (yum!)
Went on to see Titanic Exhibition at the Science Center
Visited University of Washington
Had dinner at a Chinese restaurant in Chinatown
Watched July 4 fireworks from Alki Beach - very beautiful but could not take any pictures since was in a bad location :-( -- Lost lens cap too!! :-(

Day 6:
Had lunch at I Love Sushi and met Billy

Started a journey down to Oregon along HW101S
Spent the night in Newport, OR

Day 7:
Visited Yaquina Head Lighthouse

National Dunes Monument, OR

Lunch at Mo's in Florence, OR

Spent the night in Eureka, CA

Day 8:
Touring Eureka & Redwood

Dinner at Indonesian Restaurant in San Francisco
